The Manifesto of Free Democrats

the Final. The Association of Free Democrats
intends to implement a political project that has a heart
the growth of political awareness of us as citizens.
Purpose of the Association is to develop ideas and projects for social progress, cultural and economic development of our community.
The Association therefore does not want to replace the existing political parties or movements in the Centre-Left, but wants to make a contribution of ideas and projects to enrich and stimulate
political debate.

VALUES. The members of the Association
identify with the values of solidarity, civil progress, inclusion and democratic participation.
The Association aims to aggregate all the members, however, beyond the political orientation of each, around a project that is able to return to the City democratic participation, solidarity, civil and economic progress. The Association therefore sees its diversity as a richness.

goals.

A. Planning.
The Association wants to help formulate a plan for the city government.
this purpose is to promote a "Study of the territory-socio-economic environment" through the organization of meetings and debates on major issues that afflict the city, opening tables for comparison with the professional and trade associations and, above all, listening to those who are usually the "political" meets only during election campaigns.

B. Information.
information on political and administrative acts in our city is very poor, lacking even a clear and free election proclamations
that informs the public about what our ruling class (and opposition) is actually implementing.
Consequently, the Association, through modern means of communication (newsletters, blogs, social networks) and classic (conferences, meetings, and posters) will try to bridge this gap by providing a detailed information on citizenship.

C. Training
Anyone, regardless of rank and qualification acquired, must be able to aspire to "enter politics." However
to validly and effectively act as representatives of citizens and public administrators need to acquire specific skills and professionalism.
The Association is therefore proposed to contribute to this pathway.

THE FUTURE GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY MANAGER AND THE SELECTION OF CLASS.

The Association wants to engage in promoting the building of a coalition government
City between forces of the Centre-Left. The construction of such
coalition has to pass first, the establishment of a general policy. A coalition, in fact, it must be recognized in a design scheme to fund both his identity card.
The Association therefore wants to encourage debate among political parties on major issues around which to build the joint program: quality of life, urban development, environmental protection, the reorganization of social services, economic development, the reform of the administrative machinery, the public health.

defined the program of the City Government will need to identify who will have to do with an interpreter and actuator.

The Association believes that the next candidate for mayor should be chosen exclusively by the method of primary coalition.

The primaries, however, to be a really valuable tool for selection of its leaders, must be open to all, including those of civil society who have not no party card in your pocket, you recognize the values of the coalition and sign the joint program.

The primary method has already proved to be able to partly resolve the issue of renewal of the elites, to the extent allowed for all to stand in and
freely express preferences.

The Association therefore hopes that the method is of primary adopted not only for the selection of local leaders but also for the designation of candidates for Parliament and the Regional Council.
